We Are A Family Owned, Kayak, and Paddle board delivery/pickup Rental company, and We Offer Rentals Primarily on Lake Tillery, a stunning reservoir located in the Uwharrie Lakes Region of North Carolina, as well as other local lakes and rivers, such as badin lake, falls lake, and even the rocky river. we are proud to say we are the only place in 50+ miles that will deliver and pick up your kayak(s) ANYWHERE in the local vicinity.

Hours:

2026 Season Hours: 7am-8PM

saturday we are now open untill 11:30pm at specific boat launches!

MUST RSVP at least 2 Hours in advance for night kayaking.

we are open year round, 7 days a week.

weather permitting, by  confirmed reservation only.

We Do Not Accept Walk-Ins (we do not have a brick and morter.) however we do make same day RSVPs. 30 min to an hours notice is typically all thats needed, however sometimes staff is already at the lake. (were here A LOT.)

Payment Not Required Untill Arrival unless for prebooking, but is recomended to speed up time it takes when launching the vessels.

before we can get you out on the water  one person assuming responsibility for the group will need to sign a waiver of liabilty, and staff will need a photocopy of  that persons ID. (photo of ID can be emailed to LakeTilleryKayaking@gmail.com to speed up time it takes when launching the vessels.

Same Day RSVP Subject To Availability, weekdays are more likely to have availability same day, weekends are busy and availability will vary.

Make Your Rsvp At least 24 Hours In Advance To Ensure Desired Time Slot for any given day.

we reccomend arriving approximately 10 minutes prior to your RSVP time so we can get you out on the water on time.

 

About the kayaks/Paddle boards

Sundolphin aruba 10' 

These 10’ kayaks are single seat, sit in versions, have a  adjustable padded backrest, adjustable Foot pegs to accommodate most riders, space for a water bottle, paddle storage, and a storage space for small items. these kayaks are weight rated for up to 249lbs. ask about our fishing rod holders, they are free to use. (just mention when making RSVP)

Lifetime daylite 80

these kayaks are sit on top and are 8' in length, have adjustable backrests, and offer great leg room, easy paddling and are very stable. they also have rear storage, and a cup-holder for beverages and can be used as a tandem if necessary for a small child or pet and have a weight capacity of 250lbs.

liquid logic deuce coupe tandem 13'

this tandem is our premium sit on top tandem and has 2 premium seats with padded back rest and seat, a third dedicated seat for a small child or furry friend, deployable skeg for tracking and straight line performance (this will help keep the boat going straight) rear storage, livewell, and two dedicated water proof containers built in for phones or keys, etc. this kayak offers true tracking, and steers effortlessly!

this tandem has a weight capacity of 550LBS.

lifetime spitfire 12'

this is our tandem sit on top kayak, it seats 2 adults comfortably, has adjustable padded backrests, rear storage, front storage, a livewell, & paddle storage. this kayak has a weight capcity of 500lbs.definitely the best choice if you wanna bring kids or fluffy friends!

lifetime emotion 10' 

this is our solo sit on top kayak with comftorable backrest, plenty of leg room, fishing rod holders (ask about rod holders when making an RSVP), livewell, and front and rear storage. can be used as a tandem, fits an adult and small child, or your fluffy friend. (up t0 275LBS Weight Capacity)​​​​​

CBC 10' 6" SUP board

we have 2 stand up paddle boards in our fleet (just added for the 2026 year since we heard you guys wanted paddle boarding!) These paddle boards are huge, with plenty of room for a cooler or other items you may want to bring, are easy to use with just a little practice, and allow for a much more immersive experience on the lake! if Its Your First Time Using A Paddle Board Our Staff Will Be More Than Happy To Give A Short But Concise Demonstration On How To Properly Paddle Board. no shoes allowed on paddle board. (up to 275lb weight capacity)

For the Safety and Wellbeing of guests please know all that choose to rent from us are required to be capable swimmers, or wear their lifejacket for the duration of your rental and must sign a liability release form. License will be photocopied by lake tillery kayaking 

Life jackets will be given to all participants and it is advised that your pfd be worn at all times when on the water to ensure safety.
